Fifteen years old. About the time she met Fred at a Jehovah's Witness Convention.

Bryan’s mother, Angie, was born in Tucson, Arizona and lived the gypsy's life. She met Fred, Bryan’s father, when she was fifteen and married him just months later.

Her mother, Lola Mae Mason, and grandmother, Angie Leslie (Poindexter) Turner, became followers of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society when she was just a little girl. At her mother's prompting she became a baptized Jehovah's Witness at age 14.

Seventeen years old with her son Bryan.

Angie gave birth to her son, in Ada, Oklahoma, one month after turning seventeen years old. After two years of tug-of-war with their son, her husband took him on a decades long journey. Running and hiding for years.

Angie in the late 60's.

Angie searched for Bryan Lee for years, then gave up and attempted suicide, resulting not in death, but severe brain damage.

Thrirty years later, Angie, once again, has Bryan in her life. And though Bryan will never know who his mother really was, they both feel a sense of healing now that they are reunited.
